Validation (Data)

The process of checking imported or entered data for accuracy and consistency before saving to the Grado system. Validation ensures that records meet required formats and contain no duplicate or missing information.

Verification Tag

A label or status marker assigned to records that have been reviewed and confirmed by authorized users. Often applied to student records, assessments, or graduation documents to indicate verified information.

View-Only Access

A user permission type that allows access to view pages and records without making edits or modifications. Commonly assigned to users who require visibility but not data entry rights.

Workflow (Approval)

A predefined sequence of steps that determines how a process, such as grade submission or assessment approval, moves between users or roles. Workflows in Grado define who reviews, approves, or finalizes actions.

Yearlong Class

A class that spans the entire academic year, typically used in primary or basic education where students enroll once for the full year instead of per semester.

In Grado, yearlong classes are supported even in schools using a semestral setup. This means Grado allows semestral enrollment for yearlong classes or semestral subjects that extend into the second semester, maintaining grading and record continuity throughout the academic year.
