Scholarships

Configurable financial aid options applied to student assessments or profiles. Each scholarship may include eligibility criteria and amount coverage.


Sections

Groups of students or classes sharing the same schedule or subject offering. Managed within Class and Enrollment modules.


Section Templates

Predefined section patterns used for automated class creation and scheduling.


Self-Enrollment

A feature that allows students to enlist or register themselves into available classes through the Student Portal, subject to adviser or admin approval.


Semester

A defined division of the academic year that consists of multiple grading periods. Grades, schedules, and assessments are typically organized by semester.


Settings

The configuration area of Grado where modules, display preferences, and system behavior can be customized.


SHS Mode

A configuration setting designed for Senior High School institutions, enabling Track-Strand-based enrollment and reporting.


Signatories

Authorized individuals whose names and designations appear on official school reports, certificates, and documents.


Single Sign-On (SSO)

An authentication method that lets users log in to Grado using their institution’s Google or directory credentials. Introduced starting in version 10.x for unified access management.


Student Evaluation of Teachers (SET)

A built-in feedback tool where students assess faculty performance per class. Results are compiled and accessible to administrators for review.


Student Records

The collection of academic and personal data maintained for each student in Grado, including enrollment history, grades, and eligibility status.


Subject Template

A predefined structure used when creating or updating subjects, ensuring consistency in codes, descriptions, and credit units across programs.


System Setup

The administrative section where configuration data such as academic years, roles, subjects, and programs are managed. Accessible only to authorized admin users.


Transmutation Table

A grading reference used to convert raw scores into standardized or letter grades. Administrators define transmutation tables to ensure grading consistency across classes.


Transmutations

Grading tables used to convert numerical scores into equivalent letter or transmuted grades. Defined in Transmutation Tables within Admin Setup.


Tuitions

Core fee tables used to calculate student assessments per program or level. Configured within the Finance or Assessment modules.


Users

All registered accounts in Grado, including Admin, Faculty, and Student. Each user’s access is governed by assigned roles and permissions.
